126p battery charge issues

Hi,

My car doesn't seem to charge back the battery. It completely dies in about 4 to 5 startups from a completely charged battery. No matter if I drive for a long time or not.

I've measured 12.5V with the car completely shut down, and about 13V on idle. At high revs it sits arount 14V, if i turn on headlights and foglight it drops to 12.6-12.8V.
There is no parasitic draw when the car is not running.

Also I'm not really sure what is that green cable coming from the regulator. The metal end of it moves around 1cm inside the alternator and it touches metal on both ends and sparks a lot (I'm not sure if its supposed to do that).

What could be the problem? What should I check?

A qualified quess would be that your brushes are worn down.

I have a BIS engine in my 126p, so im not familiar with this excact alternator, but they are pretty easy to service.

Are you refering to the big green cable or the the thin one?

I was referring to the thin one, which is coming from the regulator.

In the subscriber section you can find exploded view of almost all assemblies. I would assume its going to one of the brushes.
