Rear engine mount plastic thing
« on: September 15, 2018, 07:53:53 AM »
Hi guys,

I swapped my rear engine mount rubbers and spring last night but for the life of me I couldn't work out what to do with the green plastic ring that's supplied??

It has a lip moulded into it that I presume clips into the panel but it will not fit! The original one had been so b*******ised it just falls in the hole. I presume it's a press fit but I'm worried it'll just crack if I force it in?

For now the old one is left there but it's bugging me as to why it doesn't fit. Anyone else had this?

Sorted with good old hot water to soften it up a bit!
