Sparks plugs type -652cc -yom 1987

Good morning
I appreciate some guidelines. The car manual lists the type as L81Y whilst Haynes L82YC.
Which is the correct?

According to Champion the L82YC is the replacement for the L81Y  ;)

Many thanks. By any chance, is it possible to do Iridium plugs on this engine? Any particular brand, Champion?
