well the kit car is getting on my nerves lately

after fixing alot of its issues the weber carb is still causing issues, i bought a brand new one but the new versions do not have the internal filter and the inlet pipe is half the diameter which caused it to block up

and today my brand new leaf spring broke off its eyelet, was a medium low spring

Very bad luck there, sounds like your Spring has sprung  :(
The word on the street is that the repro 26 & 28 IMB carbs are not good and causing problems to the extent that one prominent parts supplier saying that you are better off getting a good original carb or a refurbished one .

As I mention in the eBay for sale section, this car has now been advertised twice on eBay with apparently no takers, and it has now not been relisted. Adam has not replied to my messages, so I'm wondering if anyone else might know the fate of this car?
