126 rear suspension
« on: July 05, 2017, 03:22:38 PM »
Hi everyone
I am rebuilding a 126 and was wondering if I am missing something on the rear suspension.  When I jack the car up the coil springs fall out of their seat.  Should there be something other than gravity holding them in?!

There appears to be nothing connecting the bottom of the spring to the lower arm.  Any help would be appreciated!
Cheers

Are the Shock Absorbers fitted correctly?

Could be someone has tried to lower the rear suspension and cut too many coils off the rear spring :headscratch:
