Hi, I'm new to the Forum, just bought a 1976 first series with chrome bumpers, but with no numberplate light. I've found a couple of lamps on eBay, claiming to be for chrome bumpers, but I can't see how they could possibly attach! My bumper has two small holes drilled in the bottom half and the wire is there, exiting the car, with a plastic plug on it... just need to know, does the light attach direct to the inside of the bumper, or am I missing some kind of bracket? A picture of a lamp attached to a chrome bumper would be awesome! Please help!
