Sounds like a main jet issue.
Perhaps there is debris or rust in the fuel system? Do you have an inline fuel filter? also worth checking the float is set to the right height.

Air cooled 1989, 650 cc
Fitted a reconditioned carburettor with new needle valve and float.
Runs well on choke but dies when I use the accelerator.
Got a leak of fuel into the carburettor base.
Suggestions of how to fix welcomed.

Try Profile> Modify Profile > Forum Profile. It should be at the end of the list.

If this doesn't work Let me know and I will check the settings.
