I couldn't find an answer in my book - it only mentioned the type of shocks that have a nut on the top and the bottom - like the aircooled's have.

I took a stab in the dark based upon other suspension bolts on the car that are the thread M10x1.25 and tightened it to 40Nm.
How far wrong was I?
