Title: Two Earth Straps - Where do they go?

Hoping someone can help.

I have two earth straps which I obviously disconnected when removing the engine. I took photos but don't seem to have a clear picture of where they go back on the car.

The silver coloured one seems to attach to the the exhaust mount, but not sure where it connects to the car.

I then have a bronze one that seems to have been connected somewhere near the starter. Now there seems to be somewhere on the inner wing for that to bolt to the car but not sure where on the engine/gearbox that should go.

So to recap - the silver one I can see where it attaches to the engine but not the body. The bronze one I can see where it attaches to the body but not sure where on the engine/gearbox.

Any ideas?

I only know of one earth strap? Your right about the one on the inner wing it goes to the exhaust bracket near the starter not sure on the other but it only needs to get to the body so just find a bolt in the engine bay to attach it too :)

Thanks for your help once again Gadge. Its been a year since I bought the car ("with just a weekend of work to get it running") and hopefully this is the last bit before I crank over the rebuilt engine and see if I can get it to fire and then book in an MOT!
