hi looking for a 126 car prefer on the road but would take project im new to 126s but been fancying one for a bit im just outside edinburgh but will travel for a good car a bit unsure on prices but got around 500 could poss go more or swap with something i own cheers stuart

Unfortunately £500 isn't going to get you on the road unless you are very lucky

You might get lucky if your in the right place at the right time, i picked up our bis for £750 as a runner with mot :)

cheers ill keep looking one sold on ebay last week for 750 but missed out to be fair i like old odd ball cars and old vespas hope one comes up for a reasonable price 8)

Hi Stu, welcome! Unfortunately the 126 seems to be getting rarer by the day. Not many seem to pop up for sale now especially early aircooled ones so you will almost certainly have to up your budget I'm afraid. The prices have risen steeply in the last few years and now they are commanding more money. Good for us owners, but bad for new people looking for one.
