Title: No signs of life - where has all the electricity gone?
Post by: fly on May 11, 2015, 02:04:20 PM
Had Harold running on Saturday but he coughed the fan/super-charger belt off.  So, did a bit of tinkering Sunday morning, went to start him up and NOTHING, no lights on the dash, no ticking or clicking noises, nothing.

So, hooked him up to my car, and still nothing, utterly dead.  Could it just be a totally defunct battery or something more sinister?

Thanks, Ian

Dodgy earth strap on the battery? Kinda wierd as even a nearly dead battery will give some light at the dash?

I'll have another look around tonight, check the earths etc.  I found it odd that there is absolutely nothing to show that there is a circuit being made.
