Hi
I am just getting my 1987 126 ready for its first MOT in a couple of year (used to be known as Beryl).
Lots of welding, new paint etc, new carpet set and it is pretty much ready to go.
I have one big niggle though which I am hoping someone can help advise on. When pulling away and especially when pulling it out of gear to change up, the engine/gear box knocks against the body of the car. I have put new gearbox mounts and an up rated engine spring, but it still persists. The steel mountings that hold the gear box mounts seem to be in good order.
Any ideas?
