Hi
I`m having a few issues with our run about bis
The throttle pedal does not return correctly making gear change a nightmare. :(
Is there a return spring on the pedal or is it just the spring on the throttle cable
near the carb, If so could this be adjusted
Thank you
pete

It's just the spring on the carb is the only one on there an should be enough to push it back all the way up. I suspect that perhaps the cable is sticking in the sleeve. A way of checking would be to undo it from the carb end and push it in and out with your hand. It can be adjusted if it's not sticking by screwing the plastic clip out that connects to the carb.

I had a similar problem which turn out to be a rusty accelerator shaft as it passes through the tube thats fixed to the floor under the carpet. you can try using a light oil on the ends But Don't use WD40 or Plus Gas they swell the plastic/nylon bushes and makes it worse ;)

Cheers Now sorted :D :D seems the pedal shaft had started to seize
so I had to remove pedal mechanism, clean and re-greased
Thank you all for your help :)
