Ive just spent 2 hours trying to find were this horrible rattling noise was coming from, had the back wheels off the ground thinking it could be the gearbox or drive shafts as it only seemed to do it when driving, got me listening device and went over the whole engine.
it turned out to be the old fuel pump thart I left on(iam running a electric pump) even though I had takeb
n the rod out the pivot inside the pump was rattling away and it was amplfied through the engine, took the pump off and fitted a blañking plate its nice and quiet now,! wish I was a better mechanic!

I got that too and I was really worried but Rusty advised me that all 126 air cooled engines sound like that ;D ;D ;D
