Title: webasto or 126 sunroof

hi guys/gals,i've asked before,but now there are more people on the site im asking again,does anyone have a complete 126 sunroof going begging?,or a webasto from an mgb/mini etc?.
they do come up now and again on ebay but its a case of catching one!

there is a nice stack of tenners on the table here for a black one in good nick.

I used to have one on my deville years ago. Persoanlly i found it much better than the origianl sunroof; being usable when the car was moving and being draught free when shut, also it had a bigger opening to the origianl covering the whole length. The one i fitted to my deville was from an old suberu coupe, I now have a wabasto from a mini estate, wind deflector is missing but otherwise pristine complete with mini roof as a patern, but sorry it is going on my bis. There are a couple of deflectors on ebay or i could make my own, but not sure if i'll fit one as it looks better inside the car without it although it did work for deflecting the wind.  there are a few roofs on ebay although i am not sure if they are the right size, but there is a company in ireland says they have a selection both new and used. do searches for wabasto under sunroof and sun roof, also try www.tudorwebasto.com

webasto still make roof's dont they is a new one prohibative?

I used to have a sunroof on my old fiat aircooled (c reg).  It was great for the summer but when it rained I got soaked at it leaked all the way round :lol:
I'll try and find a photo.
