Title: Bis Water Junction & Sensor

Drained the system and decided to change the hose going from the water junction to the carb inlet manifold. I also decided to remove the junction, as it seemed to be seeping water from the casting in odd places. :- Glad I did as the ally pipe was completely blocked as you can see. I also decided to clean it up as it was very pitted, so used an ally fine bead blaster and that exposed the true damage, which sort of explained the water seeping from the casting. Glad I did, although now I've got to get another. Does anyone know of any other suppliers out there apart from Ricambio, if not that explains why they charge so much for one.  >:(

PM'd, nice one Gadge, that's got me out of a hole or two.

Also, does anyone know what the effect of no water flowing through the inlet manifold would be?

No problem bud  :D

If you didn't run coolant through the inlet then there's a chance that it would overheat causing the fuel to evaporate
