Well we have got it, finally and after an epic 480 mile round trip I now have a 1983 Fiat 126 brown in white sitting outside the house. Pics to follow.
I have a couple of jobs to do today so would appreciate any advice as I have no manuals.
Replace the broken choke cable
Fix the front passenger door which won't lock with the key.
Get another ignition key cut. Are blanks available?
Also I will need a plastic ignition lock surround so let me know if anyone has one suitable for a RHD car.
Cheers Matt

Congratulations, Matt, that's great news! ;D
If you have a key and just need a spare then try. This company, they take the number on the key and post you one out...

Look forward to seeing some pictures when you get chance to post!

Yes I can confirm that Matt has the 126 as he just left my place about 30 mins ago in it :)
Nice little motor with the usual few things to shake down but choke cable and door lock now sorted.

Need a few odds and ends.
Firstly though I need the following
A pair of standard red rear light lenses, a right hand side door mirror or the plastic base of one those bullet ones are uttter utter stupidity. ;D

Have a look at the 126parts website. He is a sponsor on here and best place for new parts.
