Post by: the duke of 126 on March 15, 2014, 09:50:29 PM
if like me ,you are a  daft git and you change the gearbox mounts , make sure you fit them the right way round when you refit , I have done mine wrong , cant select reverse, all other gears a bit crap to engage too, I am hoping to swap round tomorrow to sort the problem

Yeah I done that too luckily I realised before I finished the job. Here's mine, I did them last week...... I'm sensing that there a common fault

well I turned them around and gears no better :o

however when I was on here last night , I noticed another cause was not fitting the lollipop linkage correctly , so I checked mine , doh ! :- I had not even done the bolt up. I must have just fitted it through the link and thought I will tighten that on my final install checks.

I tightened it up and hey presto all gears work fine !

mine were the same as yours gadge
