I'm after a 126 that's in good condition that needs little or no work, I'll pay good money for one. The car needs to have charachter. As I have never bought a car before and want to learn to drive in one of these cute little things. So Can anyone help me or give me some advice X
If you think im crazy just remember "You Don't Have To Bite The Doughnut To Know That It's Sweet" Kathy Najimy

there are 3 ebay one with a blown head gasket but still MOTed and taxed, a cabrio with MOT. and a yellow runner with tax and MOT, depends on how much you want to/can do, and are prepared to pay. Not quite a Bis but certainly with loads of charector i saw a pink 1968 gamine on ebay, fantasistc for people that wear red hats with bells on top :)

Ill have to buy it and dig my red hat with bobble out of me wardrobe. I am looking in about 3 months or so pay about 500 maybe a bit more but i want one in good cond as i know nothing about cars lol

this is a bit more than £500 but if you can stretch to it then it would problee be worth simply on a- its uber clean b-its low milage c its air cooled-
so check it- http://www.preloved.co.uk/fuseaction-adverts.showadvert/index-284807/10530587.html
bear in mind a £500 126 would still need money spent on it whereas this one problee wouldnt!!!!
and you could always make them an offer....
(edit:looks like the seller spudzmonkey is a member on here too)

That is lovely, but its too nice as a first car and every day driver, it would soon start to deterioate unless well looked after and garaged. Get yourself a cheaper BIS and if you really like them then later you could look for a real nice one. Im not saying you will, but loads of new drivers prang their first car :D

mix and match; there are a couple of non-runners on ebay with MOT and tax, and if you look there is a bis engine that was working when removed; if you manage to get the enigne and one of the cars you will have yourself a good little runner for little money and little work, as doing an engine change on a 126 is pretty simple.

Thanks everybody. I quite like the look of that one but anything is now completely out of my price range. Nice to know you all think i'm going to write my first car off. Your probably right. LOL Ill keep you all posted when I get some money again. Maybe I can find a nice little hobby car.
