At Retro Rides I was talking to the guys on the Skoda Stand they mentioned this show and it would be good to see our 126 Polski Fiats with the other eastern block cars at...

 We are definitely up for this, just have to decide what we taking as the 126 might stick out a bit too much :$ The CZ scooter, or the trike could be an option.

We could do with a few more 126's If you send in your entry form, your car and the driver get free entrance if your passengers dress up in Eastern European dress they also get in free :P But you do need to register :thumbup

 I just thought the 126 with that silly rat look and sticker bombing might not fit in the period setting :$
 I`m not sure Lynette can pull off the Eastern Block dress code either :P, but I`ll make a plan and register soon.

Received my free event pass from Crich Tramway Village this morning, If your going you need to print the entry form off (pdf) fill the form in and send it off with a stamped address envelope.

Any chance I can convoy down with you, Peter, if I go as I may not have my navigator with me although I am working on it?  I've ordered my Polski Fiat badge and with a bit of luck will be in my red car if I can get it running and through the MoT in time!  ;D

Now it seems that I'll be able to go to the meeting as I happened to have a day off on the 20th. I've got nothing East-European but my accent, so I think I'll go for the standard visitors ticket.  ;D

Are the regular admission fees apply for this event also?
Anyone from the east coast?

Captain, just noticed you can still download the entry form, it maybe worth downloading it, send it off with a S.A.E and see what happens :D

Wow! That would make it a 6 car convoy...there's a Polski Fiat badge for sale on eBay as well...think I might buy it as part of my 'disguise'!

Well, the problem is that my 126 sleeps in a garage just 'bout 2000 kilometres away from here. The only classic I can bring is my Alfa, which was made before the wall came down, but she's definitely not East-European.
Do I still have to pre-register for the event, or can I just buy a ticket on site?

My 73 red car just passed it's MoT!

Got to work late tonight so will be picking it up tomorrow after work!

All set for Red Oktober with 10 days to go - rain or shine the Vitelli's will be there!

 So far it doesn`t look like we`ll be there guys.
 I only wanted to change the look of the 126 slightly and now it escalated a and the whole car ended up in bits. Tried to get one of my eastern block two strokes going, but can`t get it running properly :(.

The best bit was when I looked at the speedo on my 594cc and it was over 70mph...and I still couldn't keep up with you and Pete (!!)  :o

Hi Mark, If it was the one in the picture we did speak at length about tuning VW's I didn't get his name but he used to repair 500's and was quite interested in our 126's ;D

Morning gents.

Thought I ought to check in here (off to read those threads in the restoration section you told me about after I have posted this). Anyway, thanks to everyone for the exceedingly warm welcome and answering my many questions. I am still a bit rusty on names so forgive me on that. I feel revitalised in the Fiat department and the nagging from the other half to get her car going has increased ten-fold since Sunday!
