its back. i had a creaking noise come from my steering / suspension recently . i greased my kingpins and tightened all the components up as some were quiet loose and it all stopped. but today it has came back i have jacked the car up and can see movement at the leaf spring eye bolt and at the top of the damper , what is it , will i be able to drive it if i cannot get it done before friday? can i use donor parts from my other car? help !!!!!!

hi bis13 it should be ok to drive bring it to wiltshire
and we will have a look at it

If its suspension then take it easy on corners and braking!

Try a good spray with WD40 on all suspension joints and the leaf springs. Another thing worth checking is the leaf spring eye bolts if I remember correctly they should only be torqued up when the car is off the jack. i.e on the road

i have as you say torqued up the eye bolts and they seem ok , i have done this with the leaf spring under load . and shall try the wd40 avenue . failing that i shall get some ear plugs and see what happens it can only break or fall off , i just hope i am not going too fast if it happens !!! ha ha ha lol

My Panda creaks on one side, cant find anything wrong! When the weather warms up it goes away! Dont worry, even if a king pin was terminally ill it cant fall out!

found out what was wrong the offside king pin had seized right up even though i have been greasing it . just swapped the whole steering / suspension for that side from 2nd car , it is now so light to steer without no creaking!! thanks for all your advise it was starting to do my brain in .
