sorry im thick guys, can i put an r1 engine on a standard box? would it take it?
i know i am going to need deep pockets and do i need to do anything to make it road legal.

im sure this question has been asked before but im new.

No! A standard drivetrain is designed to handle about 25bhp (about the same as a fat asthmatic on an exercise bike) whereas superbike lumps produce 150+bhp.

Bike engine conversions are complicated affairs. If you got a company to do it for you it would cost an absolute fortune but with a decent amount of engineering knowledge and skil,l conversions are quite straightforward to do and can be done on a budget. As long as You notify DVLA with the new engine details so that the V5 reflects the conversion that is all you need do, there is no requirement for VOSA IVA/SVA testing as you are not modifying the car beyond its current class.
