38'000 miles, mot for another month.
Starter motor needs changing. Comes with spare engine, gearbox, doors, bonnet, boot, set of steels, seats, suspension really too much to list.
Has brand new rhd headlights. 5 tyres hardly used. Electric pump and regulator.
Floor has been welded, has a hole size of 5p, not an mot failure. Last mot had no advisories.
Car is sorn.

Note! Car was stolen recovered 5 months ago, engine was drained and fresh oil the next day. Interior totally dried out. Fuel tank drained totally (comes with a spare). Roof above doors needs work ( I am sur a porta power (or jack and blocks) will push out.

Sadly I have been offered a camper, I don,t have space. Looking for quick painless sale, hence price £950
including all the spares.

Clocks removed to dry out, need re fitting. See forum tons of info on the car.

Chance to buy a project with no hidden surprises  ;D

Such a shame that you are having to sell her, what did the girls say?
Any pics of the camper?
You're not leaving us as well are you?

To be honest, total lack of enthusiasm for the car recently. I was offered a camper, which I would like.

Only one person has contacted me regarding Beryl, he wants to use for 'Banger racing'
No interest on here at all so looks like it is to be sold to the wolves on Ebay.

I really think the asking price is not too much at all. It comes with a mountain of spares. 5 hardly used tyres, brand new headlights fitted and some spares, engine is great. Still has MOT  :D

sadly the guy wanting to banger race her has offered me a really tempting price  :( :o ???

Probably worth listing the parts as well Dajwid, from memory you've got some really good stuff and if you're including them then it could be a bargain for someone with the skill and enthusiasm to get it going again...

I went to see Beryl just after the dunking. Still a stunning car. the only damage I could see was the roof where it was hoisted out (see the photo's it is about the same on each side), I am pretty sure that is quite easily repairable. The engine was not running when it went in the pond, and wasn't run with water in it. At worst it will need a full mechanical rebuild, but all the parts are there twice, there is a mountain of spares. All the interior was removed to be properly dried. The electrics are very simple in a 126, so even if there are problems it shouldn't be too hard to sort.
Someone could have a very good 126 for decent money and a bit of tinkering here.
If I had the money and space I would be straight down there.
Just the spares are probably worth more than half the asking price.

Marc

By not running, I mean the idiots hadn't managed to start it.

Taken a couple of month before the swim.

The engine turns over freely by hand. I have not tried to start recently as starter motor died after a couple of attempts (I think there a couple in my boxes of spares  ;D  ) The car comes with a spare engine too  :D

I changed the oil twice, once the next day with old oil, then with new oil a few days after.

That seems like a great deal! I love the color also. I will be painting mine a candy apple red like on the 2013 Alfa Romeo 4c! Best of luck on your sale!
