Title: Orange 126P aircooled needs new home today???

I have a very mint original condition 126P possibly for sale.

I was using it everyday(yes everyday) before I left the country 9 months ago, but now it looks like i won't be around for long time so it is a seriously reluctant sale, if I have no choice :(

She is at London wembley at my mates place covered up.

I am at China at the moment and I can't recall much the details about the car, but photos speak for itself?

I will be in London on 28 April for about 10 days, and I will have to make a decision of selling it or keep it somewhere else...

Selling or someone has a garage to babysit the car? :- I don't know how it can be done practically but if you are kind and trust worthy enough, maybe we can put down a agreement, and you can use the car for a few years as long as it is road legal and insured?

Here are some info I can remember, will update it once I am back in the country.

It has Italian engine from new I have been told the car was owned by a high ranked polish army officer when new?
MOT and Tax ran out last July
I drove the car to Brighton and back to London a few days before it was SORN.
My mate charged the battery couple weeks ago, it starts up straight away and idling reving well.
Apart from 2 minor dent near rear light the car is near mint.
No rust as I remember.
Underside has been wax oiled since new and rust free.
gear box is not like modern car but working fine I was happily using it everyday to and from work.
The car has been well look aftered and garaged most of its life, I have done some minor improvement to it cosmetically like whitewalls, chrome trim, radio, serviced by Mario the Fiat 500 specialist at Golders Green.

I've always wanted a 126P and what a beautiful colour...so tempting!

This is my old car. This car was the first 126 that I ever owned! I wish I never sold it!!!!

I know a bit about the car. I got it registered on UK plates, and it did belong to a high ranking army officer. When I sold it I gave the owner the old Polish plates, hopefully they are still with the car. They are rare as they were stamped with the polish version of the MOD stamp.

I wish I had the money and space to buy this car back! Unfortunately some new plans prevent me from doing so.

Careful you don't get people too excited! It looks like he was offering a long term rental or loan in exchange for keeping it roadworthy. Poor guy will be inundated with requests if they think it's a giveaway!

Hello all just an update about the car

I don't think the idea of baby sitting is very practical so I will either let it sit at my friends place or let it go to a new home

Good news is it has now got a year MOT and a full year tax, checked up and ready to be driven away. Been driving around trip of 80 miles today didn't miss a beat
