 .......for owners of cars registered before  January 1974 will qualify for Historic Taxation from 2014, so those lucky enough with a car made before then, (as previously it was up till the 7th of January 1973) will have an instant boost to the cars value. Mike. 8)

Is that true?  I missed that!  That's 3 of my cars all sorted....happy days!   8)

I also just read about this online. Looks like there might be a rolling exemption from 2015 for 40 year old vehicles. So for owners of 1974 cars, we might be in luck in two years time!  ;D

  What year did the 126 come in production, was it `76 ?

 For LHD 1972 and RHD 1973 as far as I know, so there will be some tax exempt 126 next year.
