What is the best place to mount a oilpressure- and/or oiltemp. sensor? Straight on sump? And where if mounted a alloy sump?
And how do I connect it with the instrumentpanel?
-
I think only abarth parts have the sensor places, unless you drill your own? You'll probably need seperate gauges to the instrument panel

A while ago I bought a 3,5 ltr. alloy sump. It looks like that there is a possiblity to mount a sensor on her side. But that is only one sensor. And I believe this will be meant for the oiltemp. So where will I mount the oilpressure sensor?
In other words, where does Abarth mount her sensors?
On the shelf lays a FIAT 127/850 cockpit with km.-, rpm.-, dynometer and oiltemp./pressure indicators. I like to fix that on the 126.

The alloy sump with on right corner (out of view) the place to mount a sensor?

Hi, the existing oil pressure switch can be changed for an adapter to allow the oil switch and pressure gauge sensor. This is the most common way to add a pressure gauge.

Hi Ralph. Do you have any picture of such adaptor?

@ Deyan: Bloody H***! These are expensive. Can't I use a sensor for like say a Cinquecento or some other modern car?
@ Ralph: Better price for this part. So here you can bold the sensor on?
-
Hi, yes you screw the adapter into the pressure switch hole and then screw in the switch to the end of the adapter and the sender into the side hole or the other way round if it suits.

Good picture indeed. Now I now where to look for. Did you pay a similar amount as on the Nanni site? Hopefully you did not.
