Hello,
Ford KA leather seats look quite small and I am considering buying some for my BIS. Trouble is my time at home is very limited because I work away in Nigeria 8) (makes it dificult to take measurements etc.).
Does anyone on the forum have Ford KA seats fitted to their 126? If so are there any isues with the size? I am pretty sure the rails from my seats could be swapped to the KA seats using a plate, I am more concerned about the physical dimensions.
Cheers,
Richie

I bought leather KA seats to fit. I spent a ling time cutting the subframes and drilling to fit.
Bolted them into the car.
I then had to remove the door pockets as the doors don't close properly.
they are a couple of CMs too wide. The door will close but needs one hell of a slam.
I removed them and sold them on.

I have previously fitted a set of Nova GTE seats to my 500. They fitted ok, although my 500 never had door pockets.
Another good set is the metro GTA.
Both of these come with good lumbar support, the only downsides are that they are a bit tricky to find, and the choice of cloth on these seats is very 80's/90's boyracer!!

What about lining the seat out a bit from its normal position? So make an adaptorplate and move the seats a bit closer to the tunnel of the heating system. I'll bet an inch will due. Is that an idea?

Thanksfor the replies. :good:
Decision made: I shall refurbish my seats using a leather or leatherette type fabric. Should be an interesting exercise anyhow.
