Basically I want a stock looking 126 air cooled that goes like hell!! what do you guys recommend I do for
-engine
-brakes
-suspension
I want to do it on the cheap, and I want a reliable daily driver, but I also want massively increased performance (albeit keeping air cooled Fiat engine)
so what do i need? turbo... abarth engine? i'm open as long as its easy and affordable!

Fast aircooled on the cheap :o Buy a cheap BMW or range rover and a trailer :D

Bolek, simple why buy a 126 if you want a fast car?
Plenty of cheap fast cars about.
In Poland you will buy a 126 for 500-1000 pln then spend 5000 trying to make it faster.
If you really want a fast 126 just buy an ex KJS car?

How cheap and how fast!? ;D
With real carb, real air filter, real exhaust, real spark plugs and real ignition (nanoplex) you can gain up to 3-4hp and better dynamic. But this is only a wake-up tuning or soft tuning. Those things you will have to make whatever you build, so this will be a good base for something harder. :P
You can combine standard 263* camshaft with 650E cylinder head. Adjust with 5* the cam, machining the big wheel (so called in polish "prefazowanie"). Fit a BIS's inlet valve 34mm. This way you will have almost a Panda 30 setup. You will have 30hp about 5000-5500rpm for sure. With standard parts only. If you want, you can fit even 35mm inlet valve from CC700.
:P

Mount a rocket engine :P
In The Netherlands we call a 'sleeper' a 'Wolf in sheepskin'. I like this way of building a nice car. But don't we all do that? I never seen a racer on the street which already looked like 'Hey I'm fast like a race car'.
