Hi, im a good friend of gregs656 who i gather is a fairly established member on this board, strangely enough it was me who introduced him to the incredible italian bit of kit (now theres something you dont hear everyday) known as the FIAT 126. i saw one at a classic car doo last year it was painted metalflake green and i loved its comical appearance from the word go.
anyway... i have big plans for my future 126 and im afraid its gonna have to be a surprise till i actually get it sorted and get some pics of it (i dont want anyone hijacking my scheme to become a local comedy legend!!!)
Anyway, hello all! just to let you know im big on bikes, and american cars, and 4x4's and, well anything with a V8 really but stuff like that doesent really make the best first car in the world (although a bluesmobile is in the pipeline) anyway... i spotted this little metalflake gem and came home, reaserched it its cheap, cheap insurance, parts are available etc etc, all the key elements are there! so i set my heart on one and once i do that theres no going back.
ok... ive said my piece im now off somewhere else on this forum to ask some technical questions!

After the day I had yesterday Tommo I would totally aggree, you want to fit a turbo to a 2.7 s type aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh feck :smt073
-
im not a fan of turbo's either lol. far prefer superchargers meself, far better power over the rev range. if you can get hold of one of those superchargers they fit to mini cooper 's' models then theyre great little units. or eaton jag ones.

The old eaton charger was on the old xjr6 good old slogger, you want to try the new r like the do do off the shovel :smt041.As for the Aston's they just scare me :smt026
