Hello
I'm Koen, 21 years from belgium.
We have a 126 Malubats (the convertible version) & a "normal" 126.
Currently i'm taking lessons to become a mechanic. For my final exam I have to disassemble pieces of a engine & remount the correctly and than of course the engine has to start. The perfect moment to have a better look at the engine of the 126 Malubats (this car hasn't run for about 4 years).
So I joined this forum to learn a bit about this car.
If someone needs so info about this car, I bought the workshop manual (the original Fiat workshop manual).
grts

Welcome, Koenh, you are definitely in the right place for support and lessons on engine rebuilding sound great, I could do with some myself!

Hello and welcome to the forum. Lots of expertise here. Once you have dissassembled and assembled a 126, you can then keep the car on the road. In the process, you are enhancing your mechanical skills. The best satisfaction you can have is driving a car you have just put back together. I wish I could also go on a course to be a mechanic as well.
