Post by: dajwid on September 08, 2012, 07:18:22 PM
Great day today at the bootfair, lots of goodies for Beryl  ;D

Electric Polisher £5.00

Gunsons Gas tester £6.00 Bargain now just need to work out how to use it  ::)

CB Radio Colt 444 AM/FM with Hi and low channels added. £2.00 (need to find an aerial)

Carbon fibre  :o BMW Spoiler. £2.00

Sat Nav (old but works great) £8.00

Best find was the spoiler, I have been looking for a sun visor for a while, I was thinking of cutting down a VW beetle one, but Hey Presto !!! It fits :-) (Any ideas how to fix it to the car, I assume a bracket onto the guttering), Can you just spray Carbon Fibre as I want it the same colour as the car??

wet sand it with 800 grade paper then apply plastic primer. Your paint should then maybe stick :$

Hi, i dont know much about this, but if i was you i would adhere it with a strong adhesive there is one on the market that is very strong (3m), im from Ireland and i seen it work on spoilers etc and it works a treat. id hate to drill metal or to make a permanent mark on the car.

Either a bracket to the guttering or maybe an a post aerial mount might be the way to go.

Just had a visit from David, Ola and the girls, lovely to see you all again.
Thank you for the sunvisor and bits, will come in very handy, just got to figure out how to attatch it now.
