Title: Beryl comes home.

Beryl has come home. She has been in my garage, away from my house, so any tinkering sessions have been a pain as needed to travel (10 mins walk) to play 'OK I'm lazy.

I have today driven her home. (Booked in for MOT to make things legal officer).
Ahh so much fun to drive. Throttle kept sticking, so another job on my list.

Now time to get it sorted and MOTd. My lady wife seems to have given up on a car for work  ;D

Small hole on floor to get sorted  ???
More small electrical niggles. 'Bloody indicators, Hi low beam again' work out wiring for electric pump.
buy some rear light screws.

I am looking for a set of clocks newer type if anyone has some.

Mmmm then running out of excuses as to why she is not on the road.

Looks lovely!.. Good luck with the MOT. Mirrors are definitely better choice then bullets.

She's looking good.

Can't help with the clocks but wonder if a Bis unit (with the temp gauge swapped over for tyre pressure blanking plate) would be a straight swap?

I guess that the hi-lo issue is the column switch, possibly the indicators too.  I've been assuming that the later Aircooled switches are the same as the BIS (ie 2 position only (dipped/full beam) stalk for the lights and 3 position (off/slow/fast) stalk for the wipers, with a 3 position light switch on the dash (off/side lights/main lights), so that my stock of new early switches wouldn't be compatible, but now I'm not so sure. Has Beryl got single speed wipers and just an on/off light switch on the dash? If so, I can send you a new switch on sale or return (sold a grand total of 1 so far).

Hmm, my obsession with switches is starting to sound a bit sad...
