Was chatting to a bloke in a Super Estelle yesterday, he thinks we would all be more than welcome at a salt meet. ( My soviet history/geography is non existent) Would be quite a laugh if anyone is up for it.

i would go to a SORT meet..... looks like they get a few doors opened if you are into spending time around old cold war sites.
-
They also get escorted off of sites and occasionally arrested.
One of them has a GAZ truck, and thought it would be fun to raise the Sickle and Hammer, once the Military police realised they were just a bunch of nutters and not a soviet attack, they were de-arrested then the MP's started posing for photos.
I will be trying to attend.
-
The 126 cars were sold all over Eastern Europe during the Cold War, so we should have no problems blending in.

All pre 1991 cars are welcome, you just park under a different flag depending on soviet origin or not. So I have been told.
-
The car's (126) origin is Poland (manufactured). Polish flag?
-
I want that white polonez(borewicz) will be next when bambino will finished:)

This car will be perfect for the event. A ZAZ 965

Sorry Popik, not sure what you meant there.

plenty on facebook but cant see polish flag... cheked twice...

Oh, I see, sorry, I should have explained earlier. They have a red flag for cars produced in a Soviet country, and a white flag for cars produced in a non Soviet country.
I have to admit that I do not know where Poland fits in to this. I was twelve when the wall came down and just getting into beer.
