im after a starter motor for my air cooled 126.

I didnt think the 500 and 126 startermotors were interchangeable?
So if you do decide to get the ebay one, check if it suitable first.

only 30 first bid for the whole lot of stuff .. even has a low buy it now of £60  ..

carbs, starter, dizzies, windcreen, and oher glass . the list goes on

Don't forget lad's the later fsm starter is different (the car start's on the key and not the pull lever).

hi gary, don't know if this link is any use to you, just depends on what is faulty the starter motor or the solenoid. check out the link i posted for new fiat 126 parts. in the links section.

i don't think the aircooled 126 has a solenoid, mine didn't, it had a cable joined to a lever on the floor next to the choke

thats an earlier one, FSMs post 1984 in the UK have key operated ones with the solenoid on the starter.
