Title: AIR COOLED CYLINDER NUMBERING

Right, having trouble getting 126 running right. New points, condenser, static timing, strobe light - all done, was running rough now not at all.
I'm unsure which cylinder is which. Is No.1 cylinder nearest the pulley or nearest the back seat?  :$
