According to the reg date and the MOT expiry, it did 32000 miles in 6 months ???.
There is something odd about this advert, none of the dates, mileage, warranty or period and reason for current ownership add up, just be careful.

Looks shagged as well! :o

This car is one for the very brave and has the necessary restoration skills. The car looks too far gone. I can imagine that the floor pans and the spare wheel well are shot as well.
-
It looks like the sills have been patched before it ended up like this, probably became unpatchable.

Time for a bag of charcoal and some steak

If anyone is looking for a trailer and some spares, it might be the one. Saying that, we might be wrong, could be a good one :P

Engine held in with bailing twine is never a good sign......

Bailing twine is brilliant stuff!! ;D

They look like gypo's. Surprised they didn't weigh it in for scrap! lol

Gives new meaning to the word air cooled engine...

He bought it 30 years ago to restore it , it's a 79 model and we are in 2012 , it was 3 years old when it looked like it does given it hasn't been touched ?
How could a car with 32,000 and 3 years old need restoring ???

I'm biased...it's exactly the same interior as my De Ville...very sad to see it in this state
Interesting about the new headlights though (on top of the car roof) if they are RHD it could almost be worth buying for those alone at the present price :o
Think I need an extra Carcoon for my De Ville...it would beak my heart if mine ever ended up like that :$
