Unfortunately, it can still rise further due to the fact that the government needs funds. The 126 makes a lot of sense. I have learned to drive economically too. There is no point pressing the accelerator to the floor to get more acceleration. It will accelerate at its own pace. So I tend to just go with the flow and enjoy the ride. As a consequence, fuel consumption improved quite a lot.

Im driving with me bambino only to work and back(2,5km) and fuel comsumption is very very high... my wife driving mitsubishi carisma 1.6 and she use less petrol per 100km like me  ???

What sort of consumption are you getting on your 126?

50 - 60 mpg, depending on journey, saying that I have increased the petrol mixture since the mot, the co content was 0.13, or something daft like that, thought I might as well  :D

over 7 liters per 100 kmin bambino... when i had bambino in poland i had 6 per 100km....

Friend in Poland had a 126p on LPG.

Was it aircooled? There are many Bises in Turkey converted to LPG but not any aircooled ones.

Does LPG change the taxation class? Are the parts readily available and suitable for UK use?

I was work on petrol station in Poland and I was seen one aircooled for lpg... but tank was on back seats...
in Poland tax is in pertol/diesel/lpg price... pay as much as you drive...

Watercooled ones around here have the lpg tank at front. Tax on lpg is relatively low so it's about 30-40% cheaper than petrol.

Thanks, I'll consider that option. 95 octane is 1.67 GBP per liter here.
