Had a pleasant morning at Sarratt , Herts this morning. They invite anybody with an interesting vehicle to just turn up . Very informal & free like the Classics on the green events, just turn up, park up , have a look and a chat at this local event which always brings out some stunning vehicles , apart from my De Ville that is.
Cadilac to Gogomobile , Steam powered Charabang among the 250 plus cars, bikes, commercials, tractors & miltary vehicles. Apart from the Bugatti 35 I guess that the star of the show was parked the other side of a three wheel Morgan from me . An immaculate 4 1/2 litre Blower Bentley which I guess would have easily had a seven figure price tag. Amazing to see some of these cars out on the road in winter and just parked up for all to see , no ropes or cordons.
Did not see another Fiat until I was just about to leave and a very nice little Abarth Fiat 600 turned up and proptley broke down in the entrance so did not get a chance for a chat.
Daughter took pictures on her new camera so will have to see if I can post some :)
