Title: Hello from Lithuania!
Post by: Tadas on December 08, 2011, 09:38:33 PM
Hey everybody. I'm Tadas from Lithuania. I'm saving money for Fiat 126, and I hope I will buy one till summer's end. I'm going to travel all the way from Lithuania's north to Derby UK. I wonder if it's possible with 126? And I don't know about the Left-Side-Steering-wheel :) If I come to UK with a car which steering wheel is in left side, I will get fine for that, or I can ride with that car as much as I want?

Welcome to the forum, I also was on here long before I got my 126. I'm from Belgium and as far as I know you can drive a LHD car in UK if you make sure your headlights are right for UK. Long time ago I heard about stickers that you needed to put on the headlights so your lightbeam would'nt blind RHD drivers. Don't know if those are still used, or ever were for that matter. Anyway, you should not drive a car anywhere that will blind the oncoming traffic.

Welcome!

I have a LHD 126 and there is no problem that I live in the UK... only problem is getting used to being so far away from the middle of the road!

Once you have bought your little car post some photo's!

Happy 126 hunting
