Title: 1986 126 Brown, Beryl (maybe)
Post by: dajwid on November 19, 2011, 02:17:18 PM
Due to a new toy on the way

See http://club126uk.co.uk/smf/index.php?topic=6497.0

Beryl needs to move out of the way in the garage, comes with free trailer project and lots of spares.
Any info MP or mail.

Millions spent  (well a lot anyway) 99% finished project. Small hole needs patching about 5" square on floor, passengers side in usual place. (I could throw in a Mig for the right offer.

Really would like to keep but, always wanted a 500, garage space is tight. My wife wants a classic too and refuses to drive a 126 or I would have kept for my wife >:(

Hello. You are on the home straight, you might as well finish the work. You will probably get more for it if the work is completed, with an MoT etc. but I am sure you already know this. Good luck on the sale!!

I know. The 500 is coming very soon and shame to leave it out in the bad weather. If the 126 is put outside. firstly no real room, but I know what will happen it will get covered up and left to rot.

I would love to keep and finish but sadly little choice. looking for swap for a car my Wife can use, or cash to find her one.

(Maybe I won't find a buyer)  :$   :D

If its that close you really should try to get it MOT'd.
Alot of people are put off by the "it should sale straight through an MOT" statement.
this line is often used to describe a car with many hidden issues.

I'm not suggesting this is the case with your 126, but you run the risk of being tarred with the same brush.
A few options you might want to consider if you can't commit to the work yourself:
