Title: 82 Air Cooled - Max
Post by: taz24v on October 17, 2011, 08:01:52 PM
Named Max by my 7yr old son Sam.. From want i've worked out it was involved in an rtc years ago as there is a botched repair to the nearside front. It came off the road in 93 & has been dry stored while passing through a few owners who never got around to completing the work. Its amazingly solid & original, the engine runs sweet but has a major oil leak & i think the gearbox is stuffed. Plan to have him back on the road next spring.

Are those alloys from a Fiat 127? They look great on the car!

They are the Japanese wheels that no one can identify, purchased of fleabay. Tyres are a meaty 155/80/12
