Title: Metal - Plastic Fuel Tanks

ive heard that come fuel tanks in the 126 are metal and some are plastic

i assume the later 126's had plastic tanks, but does anyone know rough;y the dates of the change?

Hi Chris,

The PuttPutt is 1990 manu and it has metal tank. Oh to have some space for storage I have been offered two 126 Bis for Lm 25 that is about £ 40. One is a good runner and still on the road, a mate saw it for sale in Malta parked with a For Sale sign on it. The other one is local and really scrap but judging by the activity on eBay they could be pots of gold!!

you should get those BIS's!!! i will send you any parts you need. That

applies to your current BIS too.


Paul are all the fuel tanks metal then?
