Hi All,
This is my first post. I have no doubts that I will be seeking advice on a regular basis so it won't be my last.
I have bought a 126 BIS. It is G reg and has been parked for 18 months. 30k miles. Has had two owners, both local, and i am the third. It has some rust but most seems superficial and should be easily rectified.
Have bought it from a trustworthy source, only paid £40 for it (friend of a friend). Haven't started it yet, I am sure it will run, if it is a total dud there will be a 126 parts sale in Cumbria!! The guy I bought it off is confident she will run, just need to attach a battery that is charged!! that's tomorrows job!
Inside looks very tidy and clean. Has an excellent number plate beginning G126 !
Will be sending the form to join the club in the next day or two.
Does it sound like a good 'un?
Happy New Year!

Hi Mark
Welcome to the forum.
I'm sure all the guys on here can answer any question you put to them, they've certainly been helping me out this past month.
Sounds like a great car for a fab price, I paid £250 for my F reg last month off ebay, there are some others on there now if you want to look. Theres a G reg on there which is currently at £295.00
Happy motoring!

hi and welcome to the forum!! £40  you've been done m8ty!!! haha only joking!! I hope you get it running, first thing you should do is check coolant level, i advise putting a new thermostat in, re-torquing the head (if not new head gasket) and grease the king pins and your laughing!!!
what a bargain!
BIS owners get a CD rom manual (didnt do a haynes for the watercooled BIS)
kindest regards
