Hi Everyone , a Happy New year to you all . This is your invitation to the FIRST Microcar event of 2006 ( as far as I'm aware ? ) .
Following the success of "Bubbles on the Bridge" and "Microcars in Motion" in 2004 , and the inaugural "St. Valentine's Day Microssacar" in 2005 , we are pleased to announce...
( Pause for fanfare ... )
The 2006 St. Valentine's Day Microssacar , to be held Sunday 12 February 2006 .
This is an informal event for Bubbles and Bubblers , Micros and Micronauts , Three-wheelers and Free-wheelers , Four-wheelers but NOT BORE-wheelers , and others .
Our Microcars are precious gems and so you are invited to come along and display your family jewels . Don't keep them tucked away under your sheets all Winter - get them out and give them an airing ! All types , sizes , shapes and colours are welcome .
The Event will follow the now-established format of an informal get-together , followed by a gentle road-run of about 40 miles , to a popular place of bacchanalian pleasures and gourmet delights .
Meet at 11.00 AM onwards , one mile South of M62 Junction 36 , at the showrooms of C D Bramhall , Ford Main Dealers of Goole .
Secure Parking , warm surroundings , hot drinks and toilets are provided .
Road Run departs at Noon ( Goolies permitting ).
About 40 miles of pleasant Lincolnshire by-ways , finishing by popular demand at Sargents Ice Cream Parlour , Hibaldstow , near Brigg . ( Warm surroundings , Hot Drinks available . )
Motorway is close for easy journey home .
All classes of vehicle are welcome , including Classics and everyday cars .
Spectators are welcome at the Start and at the Finish , so please tell your friends , confide to your therapist , confess to your priest , write to your MP , tell anyone who is interested in odd and characterful cars .
We hope to see you there .

I'm not a member of micromaniacs but the club has a reputation of being a laugh and very welcoming (none of the snobbery of some clubs) so i hope to get along, although I'll feel underdressed in a baby Fiat! Anyone else thinking of going?
