Title: Speedometer question
Post by: kalsig on April 17, 2011, 07:55:07 PM
I have a 126 gearbox in my 500L and the speedometer is wildly inaccurate. Is the drive gear, the piece between the case and the cable different, and can I use one from a 500 gearbox to correct the speedometer? Or is there another way of re-calibrating the speedometer?
Thanks,
Ken

strange, i also run a 126 gearbox in my 500, and i used the original speedo cable. Sily question, but are you connecting the right end of the cable?
