Hi, does anybody happen to have a spare exhaust heat shiled for a 500 kicking around?
Cheers,
Moo

If you are talking about the shield that fits inside the engine cover you can buy a new one for about £12 but I can tell you now that they are cr*p , made from tin foil coated card and will start to fall apart after a year or two

No, it's not that bit, it's the metal piece of tinwear that bolts onto the bodywork inside the engine bay, and then hangs over the top of the exhaust.

Oh you mean a bit like this , but this is a chopped down special for a 126 exhaust on a 500 [-/

[-/ That's the fella! Does it make a difference if you're running a 126 engine/ exhaust? I thought they were the same dimensions/shape externally ::)
