Title: Hello from Poland
Post by: Songokan on January 30, 2011, 12:00:37 AM
Hi, my name is Andrzej (english version: Endrew), and I come from Nowy Targ on the south of Poland. I'm a happy owner of FIAT 126p manufactured in 1998. Nice to knew that "small one" has so many fans over the world.

In Poland there are many many 126p forums, Why go on a English forum to speak polish, please write in English because people would also like to understand your comments, (even if there are any mistakes).

W Polsce tez sa rozne strony wielbicieli Fiatow 126, dlaczego wiec piszecie po polsku, na forum angielskimi? Please, piszcie po angielsku, bo my,Anglicy, tez chetnie poczytamy wasze komentarze. nawet z kilkoma bledami. Liczy sie tresc, nie forma.

I personally am perfectly happy if people post in Polish, just felt it was a little unfair to the non Polish speakers when there are many many Polish 126 forums.

Looking at the lasts few post maybe I am wrong.

I would prefer to keep the board English. Don't mind the odd polish message, but for moderation it can be a bit of a nightmare ;)

And by the way welcome to the forum Andrew [-/

Chill out dajwid :), I understand that english is international language nowadays, and I realize that eng is understandable for more people than polish. But polish forever gone be much easier for me, and when I saw a polish text on the non-polish site, I just can't refused myself too reply in my native language. By the way, it's very nice feeling to knew, that is so many polish fans on foreign forum.

ChrisRLewis, if you will ever need any help with tranlation from polish, I will be very happy too help you;)

About my earlier non-english post's: I will put the photos of my 126 ELX soon, after, I finish a little repairs and clean it up.

Thank's for the warm welcome everybody.

PS. Forgive me any mistakes, I'm learnig myself all the time.

Darrell, the google translate help a lot, but only with single words. If you try too translate some more complicated text, you can be very suprised at the result. ;)

The "FORD" mark, i'snt my idea (its a "decline" after the former owner)

Nice pics but a Ford badge on a 126 must be a sign of a disturbed mind  ;D

Rusty's Uncle don't wory, "FORD" will soon be removed. Unfortunatly i've got unheated garage and winter is cold, so I doo only necessary things now. But when the spring will come.... 8)

BTW, few year ago, when the maluch was still quite popular car for everyday driving, some owners put a badge of ford, bmw or mercedes. Everyone knew that was a FIAT ofcorse, it was just some kind of joke. ;)

Nice colour,, is that an aerial sticking out the front of the bumper...
or should I say (or google say)
Ładny kolor, jest to, że antena wystaje z przodu zderzak ...

Ładny kolor, jest to, że antena wystaje z przodu zderzak ...... almost, and still understandable...

this is how it should be ... Ładny kolor, czy to co wystaje z przedniego zderzaka to antena? ...

Tut tut, correcting peoples grammar, very naughty

I lived in Poland for 13years (language school) 13 years of being corrected, in the UK we have a few Poles and never correct any of them  :-

Nice car. The colour looks great. I like the alloys. What are they? Presume they have 13 size rims. Was that the aerial attached on the front bumper?

skelz , Amateb8 thx :), yes this thing on a front bumper is an aerial. About wheels its a standart 12 size.

About alloys, it, some kind of smart polish "invention". I will try to make some pictures toomorow, when you see them, you will understand what I mean ;D
