Title: Hello : Thinking of getting a 126

Hi  :)
As the title says, i'm thinking of getting my first 126.
I quite like my little cars, having owned a selection of classic minis over the years, but now fancy something else ... and a 126 seems to fit the bill.
Not looking for it to be a daily driver ... more like a 3 times a week driver ( although from some of the posts i've read, using one as a daily would be fine if need be )

I've had a read through the forum and it seems like a nice friendly site with lots of info.

I'm not looking to buy now, more like in a couple of months. Hoping to have around £1500 to spend, which, from what i can gather, should get me quite a nice one.

I've got a question or 2 to ask.  but i'll post these in the right area  :)

Hello and welcome to the forum. A budget of circa £1500 will get a you a good condition 126. Also check out Pistonheads, Car and Classics and the "For Sale" section of the forum. It is good to take your time in buying these little beauties. Please let us know how you get on.

As i'm not looking until March at the earliest, it should give me time to see what's out there, and if i get one, then i'll definetly update on here  :)
