I was writing in "introduce topic" because I didn't see this topic before. I moved this here and will be writing in here for now on...
I buy it in friday. Car was made in 1991, but is registered for the first time 1993.
it has around 45 tkm, it was registered until two months ago, body is great, no rusty at all, everythig works perfect. Car was never hit or damaged, exept rear bumper a little(while woman was turning around :P). It cost me 400e. Next weekend I'll take it home.
I am satisfied with car alot. Must change oil and tyres and register it if I want ;)

I am planing to put 1.2 engine from Fiat Punto, disc brakes from Uno Turbo and all NEW parts I can find, but the main look will be original..exept rims ;)
I buy the brakes for now, still lookin for engine.

I take the car on Korcula last Friday and got myself around the brakes and with a bit of trouble I got in right. I only have to remodel one hole for 2mm. I had a draft on the phone but the scale and range of holes all wrong, or it's for zastava 750 or some other brake callipers, don't know. So I go crazy while I drew on paper and more crazy when must rebuild when put on car. I didn't know will that work fine, so I made only one adapter and do it in a "rough" way. At the following weekend, I'll do another one and finalize the adapters. Iron is a 7mm thick, I don't think that will be blamed. For the disc on the right side only, car is burrows (at right :D) when I hit the brake, with two discs would be great.

With the caliper in that position have you checked the clearance on the top suspension arm when the car is on full lock ???

Yes, it has almost 3cm empty space [-/

That is good , are you using standard Punto discs & callipers ???

No, 240mm ventilated discs and callipers from Uno Turbo ;)

Buy some brake hoses. The front one's are the same as zastava 1300 and yugo ;)

So finally managed to find a garage. It is not something extra large, but will serve :D

I lifted the front hub and gave myself some brake work. Everything is in place, only to do a distance of 2mm between the hub and the disc, that disc can be exactly at the center between the claws. Disregards the screw of the wheel on the panel because I hadn't got another. Former owner of the claws probably damaged the snick and pierced it to 12x1.50mm. I just put it to see is everything as it should be, will buy new screws ;)

Thanks Rusty :)..First I found some steel plates who were 5mm, but then I thought that these are the brakes, the major thing on the car. So I decided not to be miserly with the material and found an 7mm steel plate. It take me about half an hour for each one to cut and do the shapes, but I ain't in hurry so that doesn't bother me. Quality and safety first ;).

Finally holidays were here..I done the brakes and was driving 2-3 days with car..Everythig works fine and car brakes great ;-). Discs and pads are NEW. Front discs Metteli(ventilated 240mm), rear discs Breco(227mm), front and rear pads Ferodo SL.
Front ones were done last time, just need to make 3mm distance betveen disc and wheel hub and put it on car.

Last one were a little harder to do. I have no idea where to start because i found some rear disc conversions but with punto or zastava calipers..no ones with Uno Turbo ones. So I take rear left arm off and start with drowing and cutting. After some time I got some "normal" shape on paper. I find 6mm wood plate and drow the shape on it. There were mistakes, every time 1 or 2mm..but after 5 plates I got the exact measure. I put the disc and caliper on rear arm and everything fits perfect. I took 6mm steel plate and take it to the drilling mashine to do the same holes like on wood plate. Then I do the wanted shape, finalize it and put on arm. As everythig fits fine, I put the arm back to the car and put the plate and brakes on it. Steel brake hose stays original, just pointed in another way, rubber hose is the same as front one. The handbrake cable stays original too, just need to put handbrake 5cm back (there are 4 screws now, 2 was just to try it,I forget to take picture on the end). And I put the new main cylnder ;-). Rims are from Yugo, 5.5x13 and it fits without any distance.

I found some interior acessories like old type of ball on shifter and small steering wheel (will have to find some deep one because of my big legs :) )

Next to do is ti fit the raidator, ventilators and drag the pipes through the car..but only on weekends..damn school :P

I was home for few days so there was some working on maluch. I done the suspension, battery frame and put the radiator. Radiator that I think to put on car was only original fiat to buy, and it was almost 200e :o. Then I take some old radiators and found that there will be good one from Fiat Panda 750/900/1000. That one was in VALEO version and cost 50e. I buy new one, and instal it. It fits like original ;). Battery frame is only fixed in position, still need to weld the carriers. I have to return the welding machine to my friend so I couldnt finish it.

The radiator on the upper pictures has expansion tank under the level of engine, so it is not good for me. The air will stays in pipes and I didnt think about that when I was buying it :(. My friend Zuraw told me that this one is not good for what I need, so I managed to change it in time. Thanks Zuraw ;). Still need to cut front panel and panel behind fans to get the air under the car. And I made new battery holder :).

I also got rims for my maluch. It is Stilauto 13x5.5 et 16. I will polish them all exept those six hearts, they are going in black color. Rear ones are going without any distance, but front ones need 5mm. So i will try to hone front callipers a little because I dont like distance so much :D.

Damn school, I havent been home for 2 weeks till this friday >:(. There was some problems with transporting the aluminum plate, so I done some other things till plate come.
I cut front panel, bumper and make aluminium plate that put the air directly into the radiator, still need to find black screws because this gold ones are digging in eyes :lol:

I also do the + cable and aluminum cover of radiator . That air doesnt go under the hood and that I can put tyre or some tools there without touching the fans or radiator. I am not satisfied with the angle of the plate, so I will cut it little next week :)

Next week I hope that 28mm aluminium plate will came, so that I cant do the gearbox plate ;)

There were some problems with garage and money...so I put original 126's engine and will register it dor this summer. Car is prepared for swap of any engine, just need to get cooling pipes through the car. But that after summer...
Next week i will paint bumpers and side skirts with bumper sprey, and then it is ready for registration 8)

First of all, big cheers to everyone, it has pass time since I've been here....
Finnaly I mannage to get some money and time for my maluch. But there's change of plan...I decice to put 1.6 Fiat sohc engine like in my yugo, but this time it will go central mounted. For start it will bi stock one with 84-86hp with short gearbox. I mannage to find front suspension from Abarth here in Croatia...one man buy it 4 months ago in Padova in Italy for his maluch but he has 30hp so hi told me he don need it. Suspension is new and never mounted. For 2-3 days I will get money from job and I hope this suspension will be in my hands as soon as possible. Here is few pictures of it:

I got engine and gearbox, only thing that bothers me is how to fit rear suspension in easiest way. I thought to put whole front end from some yugo because I have few of them. I dont want to strech body, but to look as original from the outside. So I guess there will be a lot od cutting and welding. Best thing will bi to make custom holders for rear suspension and cut and weld halfshafts from yugo....
Any sugesttion is welcome :)

I also need the minimum and maximum lenght of the shock absorber. Could you push the shock (without spring) to its minimum and measure it. Then pull it to the maximum length and measure it again? I would be very grateful of that information!

There will bi no problem to measure that when that part came in my hands...Im still waiting money from my boss. As soon it comes I send money to owner of suspension and then he send it to me.
