Title: fiat 126 carpets, fit a 500?

does anyone know if the fiat 126 carpet from a 1982 126 would fit my fiat 500l ?

let me know soon as , as im gonna rob them  :lol:

Richard are these the carpets from the lastest 126????

if im correct in thinking, youre planning to use the carpets from this one you've just bought from wales, then i think you will have alot of us worried. I would rather you just sell it on to somone who would restore it, as its restprable by the sound of it!!! have you spoken to john Bitmead?

Richard has just sent me a PM telling me not to comment on his posts about breaking his 126 for spares for 500s. Basically he wants £300 for it to be saved, thing is I was offered it for £100 a few weeks back but declined as it was in Wales! I just feel he shouldnt be bragging about destroying a 126 on this site, sorry but I feel strongly about the continued plundering of 126s for 500 spares. You can buy brand new carpets for them anyhow. Im not going to get peronal but feel in this case its all take and no give... after all the help he got from us recently to then offer up his sub £100 car for £300 isnt right. Instead of telling us about breaking it for spares it would have been nicer to offer it to another member first :x

i was joking when i said £300 ...  i only said it to shut certain people up ..

 NOT THAT I HAVE TO JUSTIFY MYSELF BUT , IF I DIDNT ORIGINALLY WANT TO KEEP THIS CAR WHY DID I SOURCE AND BUY SILLS FOR IT PREVIOUS TO PICKING IT UP, AND A NEW ACCERATER CABLE FROM THE INTERNET ???   . AS THIS IS WHAT I WAS TOLD IT WOULD ONLY NEED.. AND THE PICTURE I HAD SEEN PREVIOUS , DID NOT RESEMBLE THE CAR ATALL REALLY ,  ON RETURNING WITH THE CAR REALISED THE MANY MANY FAULTS .... ITS GONE STRUCTUALLY ..

i am sick of certain peoples , sarcastic comments on this and other websites . when at the end of the day we are all here to keep as many of these 126 beautys and 500's on the road as much as we can

AND BY BREAKING IT IF I KEEP A NUMBER OF 126'S ON THE ROAD AND 500'S THEN I AM FINE WITH THAT ....

and i am sorry but i will not be dictated too, what i do with this car ..  it was being offered for sale since last november and the seller had ZERO INTREST ..so if people want it so bad WHY DIDNT YOU GO AND FETCH IT ???

FURTHERMORE . it was me that took my own time, and my own vehicle and my own A FRAME , diesal etc etc ....

and went and picked it up myself , after seeing it on the fiat motor club website ...  

i completely intended to use the car myself but its too far gone ..

so ive decided to help out many fiat 126 members and keep 5  or 6 or maybe more cars on the road rather than none


SO PLEASE ANYONE THAT WANTS ANY ORIGINAL FIAT 126 BITS CONTACT ME  AND I WILL SEE WHAT I CAN DO FOR YOU ..
